Research Update in Alzheimer’s Disease: The Cutting Edge
The presenter for this event, Ann Morrison, has been working in the nursing field for almost 40 years. She is currently part of the core faculty of The Copper Ridge Institute, where she specializes in dementia education. She also serves as a clinical training consultant and develops custom curriculum design. Ann has completed programs for Advanced Teaching Skills and Curriculum Development & Practicum through the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
In addition to her work at The Copper Ridge Institute, Ann is a Dementia Consultant, Educator and Certified Legal Nurse Consultant with Morrison and Associates. She has served as part of the faculty of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the Division of Neuropsychiatry and Memory Disorders. Ann has had articles published in several journals including the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.
Ann’s educational publications include a book written in 2010 titled Caring for a Loved One with Alzheimer’s Disease: a Comprehensive Guide for the Home Caregiver.
